The control unit has up tofour solid-state switching outputs for thispurpose.• Aside from valve control, the outputs canalso be configured as digital outputs forother purposes.• In addition to the outputs, up to four digitalinputs are available, e.g. for monitoringpiston detectors, pressure switches or otherswitching contacts.A detailed descriptionof the electrical connections can be foundin the operating instructions for the KFGseries of pumps.The control unit's comprehensive monitoringfunctions allow potential faults to be detectedearly. This includes, among other things,monitoring the fill level in the lubricant reservoir,monitoring the signal lines on attachedcomponents for line breakage, and monitoringthe switching outputs for short circuits.Important system events such as a low filllevel in the lubricant reservoir are saved bythe control unit and given a time stamp. Thisallows the causes of operational faults to bedetermined more easily.The flexible parameters and configurationoptions allow custom lubrication conceptsto be implemented for each individual lubricationzone in the system. The controlunit can store up to 16 sets of parameters.Each set of parameters contains all the informationrequired to control and monitorthe lubrication process. This means thatdifferent lubrication scenarios can be preparedand saved then called on whenneeded.The CAN bus control unit is available in12/24 V DC designs.
