大庆油田杏北地区三角洲前缘相席状砂和表外储层发育，为了充分挖掘高含水期薄差储层的剩余油潜力，提出了适于三角洲前缘薄差储层的精细描述方法，给出了该描述方法的具体步骤，并采用地质建模技术建立了杏北地区8个区块的储层精细模型，为优化二次加密井射孔方案、优选油水井措施方案提供了地质依据.
Delta front facies reservoir of Xingbei area in Daqing oil field has good matting-shaped sandstone, To recover residual oil better in thin and low-penetrability formation, we put forward the way of detailed description of delta front facies reservoir including the main steps, and the modeling technology which fits delta front facies reservoir. This way of detailed description has been applied in Xingbei area in Daqing oil field to improve not only the injection programs of the readjusted wells but also the programs of all kinds of stimulations.
